Member communications for the UK’s charity dedicated to conserving butterflies, moths and their habitats
spacing text
Butterfly Conservation works throughout the UK and abroad to help butterflies and moths to survive and thrive through conservation work and by supporting threatened species. We provide copywriting, design, editorial and publishing services for their membership magazine, which is read by 60,000 people inspired to protect these iconic creatures and the habitats they rely on.
The magazine covers everything from landscape-scale conservation work to reintroducing species previously extinct in the UK. We keep members informed with seasonal highlights, and help them create much-needed pit stops for pollinators in their own gardens. To reduce paper usage and engage members online, we created a bespoke digital edition of the magazine (members only), which offers enhanced content, such as videos featuring the charity’s president, Sir David Attenborough.
We create informative resources for visitors to Butterfly Conservation’s reserves, as well as social media content to help the charity grow its membership and increase the scope of work it can achieve. We also produce the charity’s annual report, which explains all the ways it is helping nature.
